Members of the "5+5" Joint Military Committee for the Western Region have briefed the Head of the Presidential Council, Mohamed Menfi, on their recent meetings aimed at unifying the military institution.
This came during a meeting held Thursday evening, which also addressed the latest military and security developments across the country, according to a statement from the Presidential Council's media office.
On February 11, the 5+5 Committee held a meeting in Cairo to address ceasefire endurance in the country, withdrawal of foreign forces and mercenaries from Libyan territory, and unification of security institutions alongside the military.
