The Chairman of the Presidential Council (PC), Mohammed Menfi, along with the Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, confirmed their keenness to strengthen bilateral relations in various fields, and exchanging visions regarding regional and international developments.

This came in a telephone call, in which Erdogan praised the exceptional relations between both countries, stressing his full support for the PC and for total stability in Libya.

Both sides discussed the latest developments in Tunisia, for which Menfi confirmed his great concern regarding the stability of the situation there, saying that the stability of Tunisia is part of the stability of Libya and that the destabilization of Tunisia could possibly affect the entire region in general.
