Head of the Presidential Council, Mohamed Menfi, discussed, on Sunday, the latest developments of the military and security situation with the Commander of the West Coast Military Region, Major General Salah Al-Din Al-Namroush, and the Commander of the 444th Brigade, Lt. Col. Mahmoud Hamza.

The discussions, held at the Presidential Council Offices, touched on ways to synergize efforts to organize work of all military units and sectors in the western region, according to the media office of Menfi.

According to the Road Map adopted in Geneva in 2020, the Presidential Council, which is composed of Menfi and his two deputies, Abdullah Al-Lafi and Musa Al-Koni, is  the Supreme Commander of the Army.
