Menfi

The Head of the Presidential Council, Mohammed Menfi, met on Sunday with the acting Minister of Foreign Affairs Taher Al-Baour, to discuss a number of political and diplomatic issues.

The meeting focused on outlining the features of Libya’s foreign policy in the upcoming period and reviewing the latest local, regional, and international developments, with particular emphasis on the ongoing preparations for the anticipated trilateral summit between the leaders of Libya, Tunisia, and Algeria in Tripoli, including the agreements expected to be signed during the summit.

The two sides also discussed the outcomes of the recent Arab League summit and its implications for the Palestinian cause, especially the latest developments in Gaza. During the meeting, Menfi stressed the importance of enhancing Arab and international coordination in support of regional stability.
