The Presidential Council (PC) head, Mohamed Menfi, has said that a consensus-driven political process is the most effective path to securing stability and completing the construction of state institutions based on legitimacy and democracy.
His remarks came during a meeting with political and social figures in Tripoli, according to the PC media office.
Menfi called for national unity and urged all sides to avoid armed conflict in the capital.
