The Presidential Council (PC) Head Muhammad Menfi and Tunisian President Kais Saied discussed Friday security borders between the two countries from the perspective that stability in Libya means stability in Tunisia.

During a meeting on the sidelines of the 6th African-European Summit, the two leaders exchanged notes on the outcomes of the summit and emphasized the depth of relations linking the two countries, a statement by the PC media office said on Facebook.

In addition, they agreed to increase engagement in economic relations, including boosting the volume of trade between the two countries through the relevant ministries.

Menfi praised the neighbouring country for its position towards the crisis in Libya during the past years.
