The Head of the Presidential Council (PC), Mohammed Menfi, expressed his condolences to the President of Egypt, Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi and the families of the victims of the tragic train collision involving two trains, which left dozens dead and many others wounded on Friday.

Menfi expressed full sympathy with the Egyptian government and its citizens at this sad time, calling for peace and mercy for those who lost their lives and their families and a speedy recovery to those wounded in the accident.

Prior to this, the Head of the Government of National Unity, Abdel-Hamid Dbeibah also expressed his condolences to the Egyptian people for the dreadful accident which left at least 32 dead and a further 165 injured, according to the count so far.
