The Chairman of the Presidential Council, Mohamed Menfi, representing Libya, participated in the coronation ceremony of Charles III, King of Britain, which was held in Westminster Abbey in London, Saturday.
The UK Embassy in Libya considered this participation a tribute to the historical and cultural ties between the UK and Libya.
Najla Al-Mangoush, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Government of National Unity, congratulated King Charles III, via her Twitter account, on the occasion of his coronation as King of Britain, wishing Libyan-British partnership continued strength and success.
Charles assumed the throne by succeeding his mother, Queen Elizabeth II, after her death last September.
