The Head of the Presidential Council, Mohammed Menfi, has reaffirmed their readiness to support any initiative that enables elections to be held, including the partnership with the UN mission to complete the elections before the end of 2023.
Menfi's remarks came on Wednesday in a meeting with the German ambassador, Michael Ohnmacht, in Tripoli, where they discussed bilateral relations and developments in the political situation in Libya.
The German ambassador hailed the work of the Presidential Council in the file of reconciliation and elections, and its commitment to work with all parties to preserve the unity of the country in pursuit of elections.
