The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) hosted on Monday an expanded meeting to discuss preparations for the reopening of the Libyan-Algerian crossing border, Dabdab, located in Ghadames.

The officials attending the meeting exchanged notes on the operational needs and reviewed the procedures undertaken by the Interior Ministry in this regard.

The Interior Ministry is due to hold a meeting Wednesday to review the operational needs that require cooperation with other relevant ministries.

The Dabdab crossing, which is one of the three crossing points linking Libya with Algeria, was closed for security concerns.
