Minister of Social Affairs Wafa Al-Kilani met with the Deputy Minister for Institutional Affairs, the Director of the Projects Department, and the Director of the Legal Office at the ministry to review the progress of the National Centre for Diagnosing and Rehabilitating Autism Spectrum Disorder in Abu Salim and its branches.
The meeting discussed the development plan for the centre and its branches, aligning with the specific needs of this group and aiming to provide the best diagnostic and therapeutic services.
Al-Kilani emphasized the need to expedite the implementation of the development plan and establish branches of autism centres in various municipalities to provide services outside Tripoli for diagnosing and treating autism spectrum disorder.
She also stressed the importance of implementing the second phase of the agreement with the Jordanian Autism Academy, involving the return of autistic children to receive treatment within the country.
