The Minister of State for Displaced Affairs and Human Rights, Ahmed Abu Khuzam, on Monday, conducted an inspection visit to the Naval Academy in Janzour accommodating Tawerghan IDPs.
Abu Khuzam discussed with the academy's administration a plan to evacuate the families housing the premises as soon as possible.
The Minister listened to the needs of the displaced families and the requirements for their resettlement, stressing full support for the voluntary and safe return of the displaced and their right to choose their next place of residence.
Abu Khuzam also called on government sectors in Tawergha Local Council to speed up preparations for receiving the returnees and provide the families with all the means to live a dignified life in their hometown.
