Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity and Acting Minister of Health, Ramadan Abu Janah, has met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cuba, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, on the sidelines of the 5th Cuban Health Conference, with several officials from both sides in attendance.
During the meeting, the two sides affirmed the depth of the historical ties between their countries.
The Cuban Foreign Minister welcomed the Libyan delegation and emphasized the importance of activating frameworks for joint cooperation, particularly in the health sector.
They agreed to sign a comprehensive memorandum of understanding covering various aspects of health cooperation, as well as to form a joint technical committee to follow up on the implementation of the memorandum’s provisions.
