The Minister of Justice of the Government of National Unity, Halima Abdel Rahman, discussed on Tuesday, with the German Ambassador to Libya, Michael Unmacht, cooperation in the field of forensic medicine.

The Minister praised Germany's efforts to support stability and the electoral process, stressing the importance of enhancing joint cooperation between the two countries, according to the ministry media office.

Unmacht expressed their willingness to cooperate with the Ministry of Justice in several fields, including capacity-building, training and transfer of expertise between the two sides, especially in the field of forensic medicine, reform and rehabilitation institutions and the Higher Judicial Institute.

He also stressed the importance of the ministry's role in advancing the general elections by supporting the national reconciliation file, in order to achieve stability in the country.
