Minister of Justice, Halima Abdel Rahman, has discussed with the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC), Karim Khan, cooperation between the two sides in a number of issues of common concern.

This came during a meeting held Sunday, in Tripoli, during which Halima stressed the Ministry's efforts in achieving justice and strengthen the rule of law, emphasizing the principle of non-impunity with the jurisdiction of the Libyan judiciary.

For his part, Khan thanked the Government of National Unity for the cooperation and facilities it provided to his delegation during the visit, which reflects the progress in cooperation with the State of Libya.

He also stressed the need of more coordination between the two sides in the field of justice and human rights, according to the Ministry of justice media office.
