The Minister of Justice of the Government of National Unity, Halima Abdel Rahman, has discussed with the US Special Envoy to Libya, Richard Norland, issues of human rights, national reconciliation, and integrity of Libyan judiciary, according to the ministry’s Facebook page.
This came during a phone call, during which Norland confirmed the United States' support for the efforts made by the Ministry of Justice.
“I appreciated the opportunity to consult with Minister of Justice Halima Abdel Rahman on issues of human rights, national reconciliation and integrity of the judiciary in our call, and offered US support in efforts to cooperate on these issues”, Norland tweeted.
