Ministry of Finance of the Government of National Unity announced that August salaries were transferred to the Central Bank of Libya, to finalize the procedures for liquidating them into accounts of entities funded by the public treasury.
Head of GNU Abdul Hamid Dbeibah asked on Wednesday the entities funded by the public treasury to refer August salary payment vouchers to commercial banks, with the Ministry of Finance to settle the issue of salaries with the Central Bank of Libya.
Earlier, the Central Bank of Libya addressed commercial banks to liquidate August salaries for all public entities, ministries, sectors and institutions funded by the public treasury, with deductions to be made from the accounts of those entities with the guarantee of accounts of the Ministry of Finance at the Central Bank.
