The Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Government of National Unity (GNU), Taher Al-Baour, has discussed with the head of the Libyan Investment Authority (LIA), Ali Mahmoud Hassan, the results of the LIA delegation’s visit to the Sanctions Committee of the UN Security Council.

Both sides reviewed ways to strengthen communication mechanisms between the LIA and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to facilitate defending Libyan assets frozen abroad and ensuring their preservation, in addition to enhancing the continuous follow-up of these assets in a way that serves national interests.
