The Ministry of Health has dismissed reports of a malaria case in the southern municipality of Al-Ghrifa, stating that laboratory results confirmed the patient in question does not have the disease.
In a statement, the ministry confirmed that the patient, who had been admitted to the hospital two days ago with symptoms of fever, diarrhoea, and vomiting, is now recovering after receiving medical care.
It refuted rumours circulating on social media about confirmed malaria cases in the area, urging the public to rely on official sources for accurate information.
