Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health, Samir Coco, has discussed with the Regional Director of the Italian organization (TDH) cooperation in the fields of training health workers in the fields of physical therapy and mental health, as well as signing a memorandum of understanding between the two sides.
During the meeting, the TDH representative provided an explanation about the their activity inside Libya in supporting pediatric oncology departments in Tripoli and Benghazi, and supporting health facilities in the south in a way that ensures facilitating the reception and provision of services for people with disabilities.
The undersecretary stressed that the Ministry of Health welcomes cooperation in accordance with the procedures and laws in force in Libya, to strengthen the primary health care system, praising the role played by the TDH organization in supporting the medical sector.
