The director of the medical department of the Ministry of Health, Tahir Abdul Aziz denied Saturday, the news circulated regarding the depletion of medical stocks in hospitals, stressing that the supply operation is running smoothly.

"In the event of a shortage in the medical supplies in hospitals dedicated for receiving the war-wounded, it will be replenished from the emergency stores," Abdul Aziz explained, noting that anaesthetics are available in sufficient quantities in all hospitals and work is underway to make them available to the private sector as well.
