The Ministry of Interior of the Government of National Unity has held a meeting to discuss preparations, needs, and technical and logistical requirements to ensure effective participation in the joint naval exercise “Dolphin 2” between Libya, Malta and Italy.
Dolphin 2 exercise is scheduled to be implemented in 2025 as a continuation of the first phase of the exercise Dolphin 1, which took place in Maltese waters, according to the ministry.
The exercise aims to enhance security and maritime cooperation between the participating countries, raise the level of operational readiness, and achieve effective coordination in joint maritime operations, according to the ministry.
