The Interior Ministry announced that it had recently reviewed the security arrangements at the headquarters of the Electoral Commission in all its aspects.

The ministry explained that the security services have developed plans and procedures to prevent any security breaches and to provide the necessary protection for the premises and staff, pointing out that it will continue efforts to create a stable environment for the work of the Commission.

The headquarters of the Electoral Commission in Tripoli was exposed last May to a terrorist attack, which resulted in the death of several security personals and staff of the Commission, in addition to the material damage caused to the building.
