The Ministry of Labour has signed an agreement with Al-Madar Al-Jadid Company to create a special mobile phone service for foreign workers, called “Wafid” platform.
According to a statement issued by the ministry, a foreign worker will be granted a phone number once they are registered on the “Wafid” platform and in turn they will receive their SIM card upon their arrival in Libya through Al-Madar’s service centers.
The ministry said that this service will help organise and create a database of the expatriate labour market in Libya.
