The British Ambassador to Libya, Caroline Hurndall, has expressed her admiration of the extent of work done and projects implemented on the Free Zone in Misrata, and the extent of readiness to receive investors, compared to her first visit back in July 2021.

This came during her meeting, Thursday, with Chairman of the Board of Misrata Free Zone, Mohsen Al-Saqutari, Director General of the Free Zone, Ayman Al-Darwish, and several other officials.

The discussion, which was attended by the political affairs advisor at the embassy, focused on inviting British companies to invest in Misrata Free Zone, and the privileges and exemptions for British investors.

Cooperation was further reviewed with the British commercial attaché, concerning business organizations, as well as promotional and commercial agencies.
