A visiting medical team conducted 13 open-heart surgeries for adults at Misrata Medical Centre.
The surgeries were carried out by a team of Egyptian medical professionals collaborating with the centre's medical staff under the coordination and supervision of the Authority for Supporting and Developing Medical Services.
These procedures mark the resumption of surgeries following the return of the Egyptian team to the centre as part of the Authority's initiative within the Treatment Localization Project endorsed by the Government of National Unity.
