The delegation of the city of Misrata invited to take part in Paris meeting has apologized for being unable to attend the meeting, planned to be held next Tuesday, May 29, a source told Ean Libya news website.
The source attributed the rejection of the invitation to the lack of a clear methodology for selecting the figures invited, explaining that since the meeting is to address the Libyan political future, all parties must be present at the same level, or otherwise, the invitation should be limited to the bodies assigned by the political agreement, represented in the High Council of State, the House of Representatives, and the Presidential Council.
