The second edition of the Mizda International Short Film Festival was launched on Wednesday with the participation of fourteen countries, which brought a total of 48 films from Libya, Egypt, Palestine, Holland, Syria, Iraq, Germany, Turkey, Tunisia, Algeria, Mauritania and Kurdistan.

The festival will continue for three consecutive days in which the participating films will be screened. The winner is to be announced at the closing ceremony on Saturday.

Mizda is a town in the Nafusa Mountains in western Libya.
