The Ministry of Oil and Gas in the Government of National Unity announced on Tuesday, the return of Minister Mohamed Aoun to assume his duties in the ministry’s office.
The Administrative Control Authority had previously issued a decision to suspend Aoun from work, and after completing the investigation, a decision was issued to lift his precautionary suspension and notify the government of that, according to the ministry’s statement on its Facebook page.
After the suspension decision was issued; The Prime Minister, Abdul Hamid Dbeibah, issued a decision assigning the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Oil and Gas, Khalifa Abdul Sadiq, to temporarily manage the ministry’s duties until the end of the investigation.
