The Ministry of Health of the Government of National Unity stated on Sunday that the total number of people vaccinated with the first dose of the Coronavirus vaccine reached 2,179,222, while 1,100,430 of people vaccinated with the second dose, and 82,574 of people received the third booster dose.
The National Center for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed on Saturday the improvement of the epidemiological situation in the country, leaving the 4th epidemiological level and returning to the 3rd one.
The NCDC called for the need to develop an urgent plan to intensify vaccination campaigns and activate the mandatory laws regulating vaccination to guarantee limiting the future spread of the epidemic.
