Moscow is ready to work with all key parties to limit the presence of foreign powers in Libya, Russia's ambassador to the United Nations said on Monday.

In his speech before the Security Council session on Libya, the Russian ambassador stressed the need to take seriously the electoral laws issued by the 6+6 Committee adding that an electoral process would extricate the country from the political crisis.

He said the simultaneous and comprehensive parliamentary and presidential elections represent the ideal solution in Libya and that division erodes the possibility of achieving peace.
