Murzuk official questions silence of PC and international community on south attacks
A member of the Municipal Council of Murzuk, Mohamed Omar said that the airstrikes launched by Haftar's forces on the city of Murzuk had targeted a building set for occasions and another for teaching the Holy Quran.
Omar confirmed that the shelling caused the killing of a civilian and the injury of two children.
"We have called on the Presidential Council (PC), the UN Mission, and the Red Cross to intervene and rescue the civilians who are being bombed by Haftar's air force, but to no avail,” he said.
He also expressed surprise at the PC's silence on the issue, saying it did not even bother to issue a statement to denounce what is happening to the people in the south of violations, abuses and shelling.
