The National Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed the distribution of vaccination allocations against measles and polio to 10 municipalities in the southern region of the country.
NCDC said in a statement on Saturday that the distribution of vaccinations comes within the framework of preparations for the national campaign for vaccination against Measles, Rubella and Polio in the coming period.
It is to be noted that these vaccinations are intended for children from one day old to before entering school; with the aim of keeping the country free of polio, and to stop the spread of measles after recording several cases in some cities and regions, according to NCDC.
