Sabratha Revolutionaries’ Brigade, a new formed group affiliated to the military council of the city, has commenced work to protect the institutions of the city.
The brigade pledged in its founding charter that it will not allow the return of former regime era or militarizing the state under any purpose.
The brigade promised that it would not permit extremist ideologies to be present in Sabratha, stressing its support for the institutions of the army and police and refusing at the same time to jump on the sacrifices of the honorable, according to a statement issued shortly after the foundation.
The statement called for respecting the judicial institutions, refusing any attempts of restoring violated rights out of law, or by profane acts.
