The new Spanish ambassador to Libya expressed his aspiration to contribute to international efforts aimed at achieving stability in Libya, leading to the holding of national elections and achieving consensus among all parties, according to the media office of the High Council of State (HCS).

The latest Spanish stance was stated by Madrid's ambassador to Libya, Javier Soria Quintana, during his meeting on Sunday with Head of the HCS Mohammed Takala in Tripoli.

At the beginning of the meeting, Takala welcomed the new Spanish ambassador, who recently took over his duties, stressing the importance of strengthening and developing relations between the two countries in a way that serves their interests and the importance of joint cooperation in many files and issues between the two countries.
