The so-called 32nd Reinforced Brigade, a former armed group loyal to slain dictator Muammar Gaddafi, has been regrouped and joined Benghazi's ongoing clashes.

The Peace Ambassadors Trip was launched Monday in Sabratha and will last for three days aiming at building bridges and establishing peace and love among the youths of the mountainous and coastal cities.

The spokesman of the Misrata military council, Ibrahim Bayt Al-Mal, said a meeting took place on Sunday in Misrata where military councils of western cities and Nafousa Mountain districts gathered as an expansion to the Sixth Gathering of the Libyan Army Officials that was held in Tripoli two months ago.

Ghat Touristic Festival is going to kick off in the city and will last for three days on December 26-27-28. The festival is under the slogan (Ghat: Nature Treasures and Cultural Fountains). the festival will include many cultural activities and galleries to showcase Ghat's traditions.

Saraya Center, the media wing of Benghazi Shura Council, said a man and his wife were killed in an airstrike targeting their house in Ganfouda on Sunday evening, adding that another pro-Haftar warplane air-raided Monday morning the Chinese Buildings district in Benghazi without reports about casualties.

Foods baskets were distributed to over 500 families from Sirte living in Houn under the supervision of the humanitarian volunteers of the Ayadi Al-Khair Charity. This initiative is part of the WFP aids for Libya.

The Algerian Minister for Maghreb and African Affairs, Abdelkader Messahel, said his country had exerted huge efforts to find an end to the Libyan crisis via dialogue that gathered all Libyan parties except for those who advocate for violence. In a meeting with Khalifa Haftar, Messahel said Algeria reaffirms its support for political solution in Libya and rejects any act of violence in the country.

The lieutenant colonel Abdelbaset Ghitas was kidnapped by unknown persons on Sunday in Al-Bayda. Ghitas is one of the Tripoli Defense Ministry personnel, but he returned to Al-Bayda after he was assured that he won’t be arrested or abducted.

The Head of the Ground Handling Syndicate in Libya, Mohammed Al-Daili, said the Libyan Ground Handling Company workers suspended their strike in a number of airports including Lebrag airport, adding that they are continuing their strike in Misrata airport for the fifth day in a row.

Sabha mayor, Sayeed Al-Khayali, said sufficient number of cooking gas cylinders arrive in Sabha from Tripoli and Misrata every day, but the greed and exploitation of the selling points are the reasons behind the city’s crisis, accusing some of the selling points of smuggling gas or storing it for too long so that they can sell it with high prices.

Misrata TV Channel was shut on Sunday over accumulated debts that the channel couldn’t pay out. The CEO of the channel said the debts are worth more than LYD500,000 including the satellite costs, employees’ salaries and financial dues for local and foreign companies.
