Human Rights Solidarity (HRS) called on Libyan authorities and the society to assume responsibility toward the blatant violations against illegal immigrants in the country.

The Amazigh Supreme Council (ASC) has lashed out at Khalifa Haftar’s self-styled army, saying it does not represent Libya’s Amazigh cities and towns.

The head of Al-Kufra gas power station Hussein Mansour said the station was shut down on Sunday due to lack of fuel, which was lacking because of the strike by fuel truck drivers of Brega Company. He added that the strike was due to the deteriorated security situation in the area, and the bad road structure which is damaging their car tires with the hot weather in the summer.

Sirte Central Clinics Compound received the first medical cargo from the Sirte medical supplies apparatus and the city’s health sector. An official at the compound said that they are short of medics and most of the sections are still destroyed awaiting the implementation of the UN-proposed government health minister’s promises which he made four months ago.

Pro-Haftar Omar Al-Mukhtar operations room fighters kidnapped Sunday Anis Al-Sharkasi in eastern Derna and handed him to Anti-Terrorism Force of Dignity Operation near Karsa area, which took him to unknown place. Dignity Operation forces are preparing for what they described as liberation of Derna.

Security Backup Force in Jadu district suspended work in anti-smuggling fields near Tunisian border with Libya as the government did not keep its promise in giving them the needed support, a statement on Saturday said. They said they ended the checkpoints presence and blamed the government authorities for this step.

Fayez Al-Sirraj – the head of the Presidential Council – welcomed the passing of the Libyan constitution draft calling all the relevant parties to conduct a poll, saying the constitution which will be approved by the Libyans is the basis for the Libyan modern democratic state. He said that all must respect the right of people to express their views without intimidation.
