Libya’s oil production has increased to 760.000 bpd, the country’s top oil chief declared on Monday. Chairman of the National Oil Corporation (NOC) Mustafa Sanallah said in a press release the increase is the first time to be recorded since December 2014.

The Libyan former ambassador to the UN, Ibrahim Dabbashi, urged for selling the oil vessels that are involved in smuggling in public auctions and then use the money in developing the capabilities of the naval forces. He also called for sentencing the crewmembers of such vessels to long jail times. Dabbashi also extended his thanks to the naval forces for seizing two oil tankers in the Libyan waters.
