We have information that clearly shows a coordination between IS militants and Khalifa Haftar for facilitating the withdrawal of the terrorists from Benghazi to Bani Walid, the spokesman of Al-Bunyan Al-Marsoos, Mohammed Al-Ghasri has revealed.

Clashes renewed in Sabha as six people were killed on different incidents on last Thursday.  Sources said 3 people from Awlad Sulaiman tribe and one person from Al-Zuwayed tribe were shot bu gunmen in Minshiya area, Sabha. While two others from Gaddadfa tribe were killed after an armed group opened fire on them in Al-Garda’s rural road.

The spokesman of Al-Bunyan Al-Marsoos, Mohamed Al-Ghasri, said a number of IS militants had arrived in Karza checkpoint in southern Bani Walid city, adding that Al-Bunyan Al-Maroos is going to form a new force to be tasked with fighting those radicals, who withdrew from Benghazi. He added that the way those IS militants were allowed a safe corridor out of Benghazi is a war crime that can lead to never-ending bloodshed in western Libya.

A former leader for the Dignity Operation, Brigadier General Faraj Al-Berasi, survived an assassination attempt in Al-Bayda city where gunmen fired at his car, leaving the city under very tight security measures. Al-Berasi left Dignity Operation after he criticized it and its leaders bitterly.

The Tripoli-based Special Deterrent Force apprehended the head of the criminal investigation bureau in Bab Benghashir area, Osama Belhaj and one of his assistants. The SDF said it arrested him by an order from the General Attorney Office.  Last month, Bab Benghashir area went into wide-range protests over the killing of two personnel from the criminal investigation bureau, which then led to the closure of a number of main roads and the Tripoli Courthouse.

Libyan volunteers decided to take up arms in a bid to secure the Roman ancient city of Leptis Magna in Al-Khums. The volunteers tied their action to their feeling of responsibility for preserving Libya’s history amid the absence of government security and the conflicts among militias.

Tripoli stadium to host a charity match on Saturday between old players from Al-Ahli Tripoli and Al-Itihad under the supervision of Libyan Football Federation and a number of civil societies as well as charities. The money raised from the game will be given away for the children who suffer from cancer. More than 50 footballers, who already quit playing, from the two clubs will partake in the event.
