Red Crescent volunteers in Tobruk found the bodies of 20 illegal immigrants of Egyptian nationality near Wadi Ali on Thursday. The fully decomposed bodies were taken to the Tobruk medical center after deemed missing in the Libyan desert. The unidentified bodies found in the desert or on the shores of Tobruk are buried by members of the Coast Guard and Red Crescent in a graveyard specialized for unknown deceased illegal immigrants, especially in the absence of international organizations.

The Administrative Oversight Commission officially warned both the Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the UN proposed government, not to finalise and issue any decisions on the sending of new financial observers to work abroad before referencing them. The administrative body said in a statement that proposed candidates must be filtered in terms of having no previous criminal offenses or irregularities in their financial or administrative history. They also must not be wanted by the Department of Investigation of the within the Commission, noting that these conditions and criteria must apply to all names nominated in accordance with the regulations in force regarding this matter.

The National Oil Corporation (NOC) has announced that the daily supply of fuel to petrol filling stations in the western and southern regions is to be capped. The NOC has set a daily limit of fuel for petrol filling stations in western and southern Libya estimated at 30,000 liters of petrol and 10 thousand liters of diesel per station.

President of the Presidential Council Fayez Sarraj met with the commander of the Central Military Region Mohammed Haddad and the Commander of the Western Military Region Osama Juwaili, according to the Information Office of the Presidential Council. The meeting discussed current progress on the Tripoli security plan to face any attempt aimed at disrupting the stability of the capital. The information office added that another meeting took place that saw Haddad, Juwaili, the Interior Minister Arif al-Khawja and other various security agencies, to coordinate security arrangements for the capital and its suburbs.

The High Council of State stated that they have been following recent security developments threatening the security of Tripoli by armed groups with great concern. The Council stressed that these events coincided with the recent attacks by Dignity Operation forces and ISIS terrorists on Bunyan Marsoos fighters in the city of Sirte. In a statement issued by the Council, they required the Presidential Council to apply what was previously promised by them in terms of carrying out their responsibilities regarding maintaining Libyan sovereignty and maintaining the rule of law. The Council also called for a united stand to prevent those they described as opportunists from any of the different parties from dragging the country into anarchy and chaos.

A woman was killed and eight others were injured in Benghazi by random celebratory shots in the so-called liberation of the city. Media sources quoted Fadia Barghathi, an official working in the Information Office of Al-Jalaa Hospital for accidents as saying that they received the body of a child and 9 others wounded, including a woman who later died of her wounds. Barghathi added that the level of injury varied, and while one of the injured was able to leave the hospital after receiving treatment, others remained to treat injuries that are more serious.

In its executive office meeting, The Libyan Football Federation (LFF) confirmed its support for Coach Jalal AlDamjah, in continuing to lead the Libyan team. The LFF denied any news announcing negotiations between the Federation and other coaches adding that any news declaring that the position was offered to the Egyptian Husam Hassan was nothing more than hearsay. The Executive Office of the LFF confirmed that the General Union would work to provide all necessities for the first team and all other national teams in the future.

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) has sent a convoy of humanitarian aid to the residents of the 700 and 101st neighborhoods in Sirte city under the auspices of the Crisis Committee in Sirte and in cooperation with the Committee to Return Families to their Homes which works under the Bunyan Marsoos operation. Mohammed AlAmil, who is a member of the Crisis Committee of Sirte stated that the aid consists of bedding, foodstuffs and cleaning materials, and that the target number of families according to the lists is 815 families.

The deputy Minister of Economy, Taher Sharks, said on Thursday that he had discussed with a number of sheep traders and suppliers on how to provide the required numbers of livestock for the coming Eid al-Adha. According to the Ministry's official page on Facebook, they indicated their readiness to provide all necessary facilities to suppliers.

The head of the High Council of State, AbdulRahman Swehli, called on the Netherlands and the international community to put an end to the negative foreign interference in Libyan internal affairs, considering it by what he called as an obstacle to the political parties' consensus. In his meeting with Bert Koenders in Amsterdam on Friday, Swehli reiterated the High Council of State willingness to negotiate certain adjustments to the political agreement with the House of Representatives.

The Libyan embassy in Paris has denied what it describes as rumors of a group storming and stealing money from it in a press briefing. The embassy said in its statement that the rumors were about the disappearance of a sum of 42 thousand euros, which belonged to some employees who placed it with a colleague in the safe depository box and that the embassy safe was opened without any need to break in. Libyan Embassy staff said it is worth noting that the embassy building is insured by the French state and can never be invaded in any way. The embassy added that an internal investigation is under way.
