Libyan Investment Authority (LIA) will face Societe Generale bank at the British Supreme Court in London on Tuesday. The court is going to look at the charges against the French investment bank that said it paid 58.5 billion dollars in bribery. LIA is suing Societe Generale for 2.1 billion dollars in transactions made between 2007 and 2009.

Eastern forces in Labreg airport arrested a woman trying to travel to France without obtaining a security clearance. The woman was taken to jail to be interrogated later by the police for violating the order of the eastern governor, who banned Libyans from travel without a security clearance.

Pro-Haftar forces led by Mohammed Ben Nayel fired howitzers at Timnahent airbase in southern Libya this morning, according to sources from the Third Force. The sources said some howitzers fell around the residential area, causing no damage.

The Presidential Council has agreed to give the top Libyan football teams 750.000 dinars and other teams 500.000 dinars in order to end the delay of the Libyan Soccer League for this season, which is now supposed to kick off after the money is deposited into the bank accounts of the teams.

Libyan Sports Court will be operational for the first time after a possible meeting between the Chairman of the Olympic Committee Jamal Al-Zaroug and the consultant Ezzidin Al-Gharyani was announced to be taking place this week. The court will be the highest sports authority and four people were named to chair it.

Local Governing Minister Badad Gansu and Sirte Mayor Mukhtar Madani discussed the mechanism needed for returning services to the city as well as for providing it with enough medicines and medical equipment.
