The Minister of Justice at Al-Thanni government of Tobruk-based House of Representatives called on the International Criminal Court (ICC) to stop legal procedures against Saif Al-Islam Gaddafi as he is legible to be tried by the Libyan judiciary. In a formal letter sent to the ICC, the Minister said Gaddafi’s son has been tried more than once at the Libyan courts for the same charges that the ICC wants to try him for, saying according to the international conventions and the local laws, a person cannot be tried for the same crime twice.

The spokesman of Sabratha Municipality’s media office, Ahmed Al-Zawaghi, said the city will host on Monday a meeting that will include 60 municipalities from the western region, central region and southern region. Al-Zawaghi added that two main issues will be the focal point of the meeting – financial problems at the municipalities and national reconciliation.

______________Volunteers from the Libyan Red Crescent in Benghazi buried Saturday 47 unidentified bodies that were in the morgue at Benghazi Medical Center. The Libyan Red Crescent in Benghazi added that the bodies were decomposed as they had been stored in the morgue for almost a year.

Media office of Al-Bunyan Al-Marsoos said the countdown for the final stage of the battle against IS militants in Sirte is on and time is ticking away fast for the radicals in the city. It added on Facebook that significant meetings are now underway where the operation’s leaders are preparing the forces for the final and conclusive battle to uproot IS from Sirte.
