Libyan footballer Esmaiel Al-Tajouri, who plays for Austria Wien in Austria, said he won’t be able to join the Libyan national team before the upcoming camp to prepare for the match against Cape Verde in CAN qualifiers because he prefers to play for the Austrian national team, according to the administrative manager of the Libyan team, Mabrouk Al-Musrati.

Al-Salam Organization for Charity and Relief in Bani Walid said it buried Sunday a number of unidentified bodies of illegal immigrants, who were found in the mountain paths in the city, pointing out that the migrants were buried for fear of the outbreak of diseases in the city due to the decomposed bodies.

A report by Human Rights Solidarity about the airstrikes on Derna showed that 71 civilians were either killed or injured, among whom there were 26 children.

Media sources from Benghazi said two of Khalifa Haftar’s militiamen were killed and two others were wounded in a landmine explosion in Al-Gawarsha district, saying the blast targeted volunteering militiamen, who fight with Haftar’s forces, as they were advancing nearby Al-Gawarsha checkpoint.

The administrative and technical procedures for this year’s hajj (pilgrimage) season have been all set, said the hajj caretaker committee. Also, the spokesman of Tripoli Organization said the committee has started to take the checks and distribute suitcases for the hajjis (pilgrims), meanwhile some haj education sessions started to take place in different areas in the city.

Turkey is studying the UN-proposed government’s Presidential Council’s request to lift the visa obligation on Libyans, commented the Turkish ambassador to Libya, saying this kind of decision is not on the table currently and needs more time.
