Civil Registry Authority in Sabha announced suspension of work for a week to come starting Sunday over the killing of Head of the Civil Registry Office in Murziq, Ahmed Salheen and the mandate Mousa Al-Tumi. The Sabha Civil Registry Authority said the murder of the two came after threats Salheen received before his death and they were for his rejection to take fake paper from some people in Murziq, adding that some foreigners in the city are trying to obtain official paper by force.

The Presidential Council of the UN-proposed government said it allocated 150 million dinars to the Local Governing Ministry so that it distributes them on the municipalities.
