The Bangladeshi Ambassador to Libya, Mohamed Shahid Al-Haq, visited Tripoli Security Department on Sunday and met with its Chief, Salah Al-Samowi, to check for the conditions of the Bangladeshi workforce in Libya, proposing a collaboration between the two countries to protect the workers from kidnapping and abuse.

Al-Bunyan Al-Marsoos forces successfully escorted 14 civilians out of clashes zone in the last IS hideout in Sirte, Jiza neighborhood. Most of the civilians were women and children.

Tripoli-based Special Deterrent Force has said that one of its personnel was killed and another was wounded in the capital on Saturday. On Facebook, the SDF said this is the second time one of its members is targeted in Tripoli, pointing out that it will keep on combating crime and terror until it apprehends all the culprits and bring them to justice.

The spokesman of Al-Bunyan Al-Marsoos, Mohammed Al-Ghasri, called on the Presidential Council of the UN-proposed government to immediately provide weapons and ammunition for the forces fighting IS diehards in Sirte. Al-Ghasri added Sunday that Al-Bunyan Al-Marsoos forces are uprooting terrorism from Sirte and no one is supplying them with ammunition except for Misrata, stressing on the inadequacy of the PC’s support.

Sirte Crisis Commission monitored on Sunday the process of distributing medicines to plenty of patients of the displaced families from Sirte in Tripoli. The Head of the Sirte Crisis Commission in Tripoli said they had distributed more than 1400 schoolbags inclusive of all the needed school materials for the children of Sirte IDPs. It also added that it would also distribute over 350 foods baskets for the big families, widows, and divorced women.

 The leaders of the Tripoli revolutionary brigades issued a statement on Friday calling on the Presidential Council of the UN-proposed government to either commit to the Skhirat agreement or declare it as a failure.
