Administrative Control Authority sent a letter to the UN-proposed government's Foreign Minister Mohammed Sayala urging him to dismiss a number of diplomats working in Libyan attachés overseas and return them to work inside Libya. It added that it will cooperate with the Ministry of Finance to block their salaries.

Hatif Libya Company said it had frozen 239 thousand telephone lines as their owners had not renew their subscriptions since 2008. It also added that it had given an ultimatums for the wireless fixed phone service's subscribers who are indebted to the company until May 01 or else they will block their numbers.

The Head of the High Council of State, Abdelrahamn Al-Sweihli, met with the UK ambassador to Libya Peter Millett in Tripoli to discuss the political process in Libya as well as the current efforts to contain the military escalation and the economic downfall in the country. They also discussed, according to the HCS's media office, the possibility to get the dialogue going with the House of Representatives to break off the current political stalemate.

Head of Tripoli Security Department, Saleh Al-Samowee, said the Tunisian delegation that is on a formal visit to Libya nowadays has rejected to meet up with the wives of Tunisian IS militants who are detained by the Special Deterrent Force in Tripoli. He added that the delegation went as far as canceling the scheduled meeting with them even after obtaining a permission from the Attorney General.

National Oil Company said The technical team of the Arabian Gulf Oil Company and another from Schlumberger Company managed to finish the first operations in measurement of oil wells at Sarir oilfield this month after years of stoppage due to security unrest. NOC added that it welcomes the return of foreign companies in the oil sector and the great impact that will follow such a step, especially in increasing oil production in Libya.

Abdelkader Messahel, the Algerian Minister of Maghreb and Africa affairs, will continue his formal visit to Libya on Thursday and visit many Libyan areas, including a next stop at southern Libya as part of the efforts to support reconciliation and peace across the country, Algerian News Agency reported. Messahel arrived in Al-Bayda and met Aqilah Saleh yesterday and headed to have a meeting with Khalifa Haftar in Al-Marij.

Elders, mayors and civil societies in Murziq announced that Al-Feel oilfield was reopened in the presence of the defense minister of the UN-proposed government Mahdi Al-Barghathi and the Head of the Petroleum Facilities Guard Edriss Abukhamada on Wednesday. They said in a statement that they reopened the oilfield to prioritize Libya's interests to those of the district of Murziq, which is undergoing bad services and lack of almost every needed support. They also called for founding projects in the area to make it more livable for the residents and locals.
