Khalifa Haftar has left the US and other countries that support him no choice but to break free from him over being adamant in his refusal to support a fragile UN-proposed government, the Washington Post reported Thursday, adding that Haftar, who is a CIA asset and US-trained military figure has jeopardized hopes for stability in Libya.

HoR member, Siham Sergaiwa, confirmed that she did not know about the decision to ban the governor of the parallel Central Bank of Libya and the head of the Audit Bureau as well as the head of the Administrative Inspection Authority and his deputy. She said the HoR members will ask the speaker, Aqilah Saleh about the reasons of the decision.

The mayor of Traghen, Mohammed Al-Bakouri, complained about the low life and health conditions in the city, calling for founding a runway for the helicopters in Traghen so that the crisis of lack of cash can be solved, pointing out that the humanitarian situation is below terrible as the city is suffering from acute shortages in fuel, Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and drinking water, let alone the medical equipment and other things that have been absent from the city for three months now.

The Head of Derna Local Council, Ramzi Al-Shaer, has appointed Brig. Yahya Omer, as the top security chief and tasked him with establishing Derna Security Directorate, saying the decision comes to reopen all of the state institutions especially after all parties signed on the code of honor in Derna and vowed to help out implementing its points on the ground.
