Ubari municipal member, Mohammed Al-Murtada, said their city has started to lose water supplies after the continuous power outages for 12 days led to the shortage of wells’ water, thus leading to the halt of almost all services and the deterioration of the humanitarian situation in the city, adding that the lack of government actions worsened Ubari’s crisis.

Head of Brega Oil Company’s central region branch, Muftah Bazina, said an oil vessel laden with diesel fuel arrived in Misrata port and started to unload the fuel after some delay by weather conditions, adding that the delay could have caused a shutdown in Al-Khums power plant if it wasn’t for Brega Company, which gave the power plant the fuel allocated to gas stations.
