The spokesman of the UN-proposed government’s Defense Ministry, Mohammed Al-Ghasri, has accused Khalifa Haftar, the leader of Dignity Operation, of facilitating the escape of a number of terrorists from Benghazi into the western region.

Tobruk MP, Saleh Fahima, revealed that the HoR members are signing a petition aiming at pushing Aqilah Saleh, the Speaker of the HoR to step[ down over his fluctuated unilateral decisions, which led to weakening the HoR’s body, pointing out that he took the Chief Commander of Libya’s Army post alone although the constitutional amendment says it should be for the speaker and his two deputies.

The General Authority for Water Resources said water supplies were cut in some Tripoli areas due to some service works by the authority’s workers on the pipelines that were damaged due to leakage, adding that water is still flowing well from the Man-Made River system.

A delegation from Libya’s Airports Authority visited French Seeds Company, which manufactures fire engines and which has been contracted by the authority for importing a number of fire engines. The visit discussed reactivating the importation contracts, solutions for some technical issues in the field and reestablishing training programs.

Gunmen abducted Director of Budget Department in the Finance Ministry of UN-proposed government Nuri Rahuma from his office on Monday. The Finance Ministry issued a statement condemning the kidnap and called for his immediate release.

Presidential Guard of the Salvation Government in Tripoli denied abducting the political activist Salah Al-Bakoush, and confirmed in a statement that it will take legal action against the accusations and defaming that were directed at its command and personnel.

Justice and Construction Party of Muslim Brotherhood Movement said the burning of a body in Benghazi is a war crime, calling in a statement on the legal authorities to take action to deter the repetition of such crimes, which it said would add to division among Libyans.

Nalut opened a security department for Touristic Police tasked to protect archaeological sites in the city in the presence of the mayor and other figures. This is the first touristic police station in the western region, after the Tourism Ministry listed 10 touristic police stations across the country.

The deputy foreign minister of the UN-proposed government, Tariq Shuwaib, said they will start installing the passports system for Libyans in Tunis and Cairo to facilitate issuing them for the Libyans abroad, especially those whose passports expired and cannot return to Libya to renew them.

US Embassy in Libya suspended issuing visas for Libyans in compliance with President Trump’s travel ban, saying the suspension will be ongoing until a further notice. It also asked Libyans not to apply for visas and those who have applied to stop tracking their applications, as they won’t be allowed into any US embassy or consulate.

Mellita Oil and Gas Company announced that the floating dock “Gaza” started operating officially after receiving the first vessel. The company added that the service teams worked constantly over the last 48 hours to link the floating dock to the main platform so that it becomes an official alternative of Suluq floating depot that was taken aside hours before Gaza operated.
