The Head of the Illegal Immigration Fight Center, Mohammed Besher, ordered Tuesday the shutdown of several migrants shelter centers in Tripoli, Sorman, Al-Khums, and Al-Gala.

ISIS fugitives in Libya are receiving national and international support, Chief of Military Intelligence of Al-Bonyan Al-Masrous Operation, Brig. Gen Mohammed Ganaidi, has revealed, adding that the military vehicles that the radical group is using around Sirte now had been imported from a Gulf state.

Gunmen have stormed houses and arrested a number of locals in Nofaliya, the town member of House of Representatives, Amer Nasir, has reported. Amer described the gunmen as outlaw groups that don’t comply with the instructions of their commanders, in an implied reference to Dignity Operation fighters who have been besieging the town for several days. He said situations around the town, some 127 km east of Sirte, are escalating as ISIS militants had reinforced their presence in the region.

The World Health Organization has sent 4000 anti-scorpion venom (ASV) serums to southern Libya, spokesperson of the North African country’s office, Ahmed Salem, declared. Salim said Libyan hospitals are in dire need of these serums during the summer time, especially in the south region where several deaths were caused by scorpion venom.

EU Parliament President, Antonio Tajani, has reiterated his call to allocate 6 billion euros to stop migrants’ flow from Libya. Tajani said the money will be also used to train Libyan coastguards and set up UN-run camps for migrants in south Libya, Chad and Niger.

French Foreign Minister, Jean-Yves Le Drian, ended Monday his visit to Libya that aimed at strengthening the outcome of France-brokered meeting between Head of Presidential Council Fayaz Sirraj and Chief of Dignity Operation Khalifa Haftar. He started with Tripoli where he met with Fayaz Sirraj and President of High Council of State Abdul-Rahman Swaihli. Then he visited Misrata and met with the city’s military and civil leaders. Later, he moved to the east and held separate talks with Khalifa Haftar and HoR Speaker Aqailah Saleh. Member of High Council of State, Abdul-Rahman Al-Shatar, accused Le Drian of attempting to impose Khalifa Haftar on Libyans. Libyan national football team won 1-0 over Guinea in Tunisia on Monday. The goal was scored by Hamdo Al-Masri in the first half, thus securing the first three points of the match as part of the World Cup 2018 qualifiers of Group A.

Member of the High Council of State, Mansour Al-Hassadi, said the French Foreign Minister promised in his visit to the council in Tripoli on Monday to end the siege of Dignity Operation forces on Derna city, adding on twitter that he also promised to tackle the humanitarian conditions in there.
